DAYS SINCE WE BEGAN THE BARGAINING PROCESS. WE ARE UNITED AND WE WILL MAKE CHANGE.

Final Call To Join Us Tomorrow At The Rally On Parliament Hill

Tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16th, is the Day of Action on Parliament Hill, from 12:00-14:00 (EDT). We must continue to make our voices heard, and demand that every single hour at work is paid at our full wage.

Reminder for those who have registered for the charter buses:

  • From YUL – Des Jardins: Bus departs at 09:00 (EDT)
  • From YYZ – The ALT Hotel: Bus departs at 06:00 (EDT)
  • From YYZ – Scarborough Town Centre:  Bus departs at 06:00 (EDT)

This is more than a rally; it’s a powerful show of solidarity. By standing together, we send a clear message to the government: unpaid work will not fly.

We have limited space still available on the YUL and the Scarborough Town Center YYZ buses. Click the corresponding link below to register.

Reminder – Option to Stop Receiving Physical Mail for Election Materials

During this past summer’s elections, the Tabulating Committee received a significant amount of returned physical mail. To reduce waste and ensure that materials reach members reliably, we want to remind everyone that while all members automatically receive election materials electronically, you may also choose whether or not to receive a physical copy by mail.

If you no longer wish to receive physical mail, you can opt out at any time by emailing contact@accomponent.ca. Please use “Opt-Out” as the subject line of your email and include the following information in your message:
• First and last name
• Employee Number

Members who opt out of physical mailings will continue to receive all election materials electronically. Members who do not opt out will receive both electronic and mailed copies.

We encourage you to consider this option to help reduce the amount of returned mail and unnecessary printing.

In Solidarity,

Your Component Tabulating Committee
