Local 4094 Vice President Vacancy Election

(This applies to Local 4094 members only)

This is to advise that nominations took place, at the Local 4094 special membership meeting which was held on June 8, 2026, to fill the one vacant Local 4094 Vice President position.

The following members were nominated for the one (1) vacant Local 4094 Vice President position:

  • Oliver Cooper
  • Carlene Gullstrom (Carlena)
  • Sean Haedid
  • Michael Koralewski
  • Kamal Touffaha

In accordance with Air Canada Component Bylaw C.8.3, an election must be held. Voting for this position will begin on July 13, 2026 at 9:00 am PDT, and end on July 23, 2026 at 12:00 pm PDT.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: You will receive a letter by email, and by regular mail for those that did not opt out of physical mailings, directly from Simply Voting prior to the vote opening. This letter will contain a new Elector ID and Password, along with detailed instructions on how to vote online and by telephone.

If you have not received either the letter from Simply Voting by regular mail, or the email from Simply Voting, by July 13, 2026, please email us at vote@accomponent.ca. Please include ALL of the following information: your full name, your employee number, your local number, your telephone number, your mailing address, and your email address.

You have the option of voting by web, or by phone, as per Component Bylaws. You will need your new Elector ID and Password to access the system.

Once you have submitted your vote, the Simply Voting system will issue a printable electronic receipt. If you are voting by phone, you can only access your electronic receipt by logging into the Simply Voting system online.

If you are experiencing difficulties registering your vote, please email vote@accomponent.ca or call 1-877-411-3552, extension 254 or (416) 798-3399, extension 254. Please provide us with your name, employee number, local number, phone number, email address, and postal code. Emailing will ensure the fastest response. We kindly ask that you do not send multiple requests, as this slows down our ability to respond. We will get back to you as quickly as possible during business hours (weekdays 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. EDT); however, please allow up to 1 business day for a response.

Pension Webinar Follow-up

Last week, the Component Pension Committee hosted a webinar to explain the pension changes resulting from the 2025 round of bargaining.

Retirements in 2025
We had 44 members who retired in 2025. Click HERE to look at the breakdown between bases. We wish them all well and hope they are enjoying the new chapter in their life.
