EAP Update – July 2026

Recognizing Safety, Self-Care, and Support

July brings us a meaningful opportunity to recognize the many layers of what it means to care for ourselves, for one another, and for the people we serve every day.

This month, we acknowledge Flight Attendant Safety Professionals’ Day on July 19 — a reminder that our role is rooted in safety, awareness, training, and calm leadership, even in the most unpredictable moments. We also recognize International Self-Care Day on July 24, because caring for others begins with making space to care for ourselves, too.

July is also Disability Pride Month, an important reminder that inclusion means recognizing both visible and invisible disabilities, respecting different lived experiences, and continuing to build a workplace where every member feels seen, supported, and valued.

And on July 30, World Day Against Trafficking in Persons reminds us of the unique position aviation workers may have in noticing when something does not feel right. Awareness, compassion, and knowing where to turn can make a difference.

This month’s newsletter is about celebrating the strength of our profession while also making room for rest, awareness, inclusion, and connection. Whether you are flying through a busy summer schedule, or quietly trying to keep yourself grounded, please remember that your well-being matters — and your EAP peer support team is here for you.
