DAYS SINCE WE BEGAN THE BARGAINING PROCESS. WE ARE UNITED AND WE WILL MAKE CHANGE.

Your Committees Are Coming to LHR

Your Health and Safety, EAP, and Wage Indemnity Plan Committees are pleased to be bringing support, information, and resources directly to members on layover at the London layover hotel from July 27 to August 1, 2026. As our busiest non-base station, this allows us to meet a huge number of you in a short period of time. You’re also in a better position to engage with us than when rushed at the airport.

Stop by for light refreshments, meet your committee representatives, ask questions, or simply learn more about the services available to you.

Perhaps you have wondered:

Health and Safety: Do you know which forms should be completed immediately following a workplace accident or injury?

EAP: Have you been struggling with your mental health, stress, or a personal concern, but your busy summer schedule and responsibilities outside of work have made it difficult to visit an EAP office or reach out?

Wage Indemnity Plan: Are you curious about how the plan works, which documents may be required, or what you need to apply?

Whatever brings you in, we will be available to answer your questions, help you understand your resources, and provide support in a welcoming and confidential environment.

Members may also book a confidential, one-on-one appointment with an EAP representative during their LHR layover through our online booking page:

You may also reach the EAP Committee at any time on those days through WhatsApp at (403) 472-6868.

We look forward to connecting with you in London and bringing your Component committees and resources directly to you.

In solidarity,

Your Air Canada Component of CUPE
