Selection of Program Coordinators
After a competitive selection process, the Airline Division Council of Presidents (ADCP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Meagan McDonough and Sarah Wilmot to the position of Program Coordinators for the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Program.
Meagan McDonough
Meagan is driven by her personal experience following a critical incident, and the role that strong, supportive communities play in fostering resilience, well-being, and personal growth. With 14 years at Air Transat, including over a decade as a Flight Director, Meagan’s career in aviation has shaped a strong understanding of the demands placed on cabin crew and the importance of building strong support networks, both inside and outside of work. Beyond aviation, Meagan has extensive experience in the wellness space, designing and delivering programming in mental health, resilience, and peak performance, for both corporate and not-for-profit sectors. Meagan brings a background in Organizational Development, with training in Trauma-Informed Workplaces, and a focus on building organizational cultures where effective support systems ensure cabin crew are never left to navigate critical incidents on their own.
Sarah Wilmot
Sarah brings a unique perspective to the coordinator role with professional experience shaped by a career in both aviation and social advocacy. She has held positions within the municipal government, health care, and at various non-profit organizations. She started her aviation journey at Porter Airlines 9 years ago and is currently a Purser on their E2 fleet. She is motivated by the opportunity to bridge her passion for mental wellness and resilience to the complex environments and demands that cabin crew regularly face. She has a strong understanding of the harm that critical incidents can cause – physically, mentally and emotionally and is driven to cultivate and deliver a program that cabin crew can rely on to feel empowered and fully supported both before and after an incident occurs.

Volunteer CISM Peer Representative Orientation Sessions
We would like to extend our gratitude to all members who attended the CISM Peer Representative orientation sessions. We know many members have been looking forward to updates on the development of our Critical Incident Stress Management program, and we appreciate your patience. While progress has continued behind the scenes, our rollout timeline was impacted as our training partner’s resources were necessarily focused on supporting a significant critical incident response over the past several months. Despite this delay, our commitment to building a strong and sustainable CISM program remains unchanged. We are now planning to begin peer representative training in the fall and are excited to share more details as we move closer to launch. Thank you for your continued interest, support, and enthusiasm as we work toward bringing this important program to our members. Once all peer representative applications have been reviewed, the Program Coordinators will reach out to you to schedule interviews with our Program Clinician and discuss next steps.
