We understand that with multiple votes taking place in close succession, some overlapping, it can be difficult to keep track of what is happening and when. To provide clarity and help you stay informed, below is a summary of all upcoming votes, their purposes, and key dates:
🗳 1. STRIKE VOTE
Purpose: To authorize a strike mandate.
Voting Period:
Opens: Monday, July 28, 2025 at 14:00 EDT
Closes: Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 14:00 EDT
Note: You should have already received your voting credentials by email directly from Simply Voting.
📜 2. BYLAW REFERENDUM
Purpose: To vote on the proposed changes to the Air Canada Component Bylaws. Click HERE to view the bulletin from the Component outlining these changes.
Voting Period:
Opens: Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 09:00 EDT
Closes: Monday, August 11, 2025 at 12:00 EDT
Note: Voting credentials have been sent by regular mail to those that did not opt out of physical mailings, and will be sent by email to the entire membership, directly from Simply Voting, on the morning the vote opens.
🧾 3. LOCAL 4092 DELEGATE VOTE
Purpose: To elect the Local 4092 delegates for the upcoming Airline Division & CUPE Conventions. Click HERE to view the bulletin from the Tabulating Committee with the list of candidates.
Voting Period:
Opens: Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 09:00 EDT
Closes: Friday, August 15, 2025 at 12:00 EDT
Note: This election is only open to members of Local 4092. Voting credentials will be sent by regular mail to those that did not opt out of physical mailings and will be sent by email to all members of Local 4092, directly from Simply Voting, on the morning the vote opens.
Please ensure you check your email (including junk/spam folders) for messages from Simply Voting on the start dates of each vote. Each vote will have its own unique Elector ID and Password.
