B737 Max Survey

Dear Members operating at Air Canada Mainline and Air Canada Rouge,

Your Union is reaching out to you with regards to the recent announcement made by Transport Canada on the B737 Max.  You can find a copy of the News Release here: https://www.canada.ca/en/transport-canada/news/2020/12/transport-canada-validates-the-design-changes-to-the-boeing-737-max-aircraft.html

As we are in discussions with the company on what each of you needs to feel safe operating on the aircraft, and no one wants to “guess” what the concerns are, therefore we are looking for your immediate feedback through the following survey:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2PMLDC5

Please note:  This survey is open to ALL members that have operated or will be in the position to operate on this aircraft in the future.

We would appreciate it if all Cabin Crew could fill out the survey, which will close at 5:00pm on Monday, January 11, 2021.  If you have any follow up concerns, questions or comments, you can reply directly to this email.

We want to ensure that each and every one of you are able to get the information required to feel secure, confident and safe onboard.  The customer will also, as always, be looking to us for reassurance, comfort and safety knowledge.  We are safety professionals and working through the pandemic has taught us much on how we are regarded, and our number one role on board.

As always, thank you for looking out for one another, and thank you for doing your part to ensure the company is able to address the issues that are concerning to you.

In Solidarity,

Wesley Lesosky
President, Air Canada Component of CUPE
