Educational Webinar Series

Dear members,

Over the past few months, we’ve incorporated Webinars into our Union’s communication technologies, and we’ve received numerous messages from members highlighting how they enjoyed having access to this medium as a communication tool.

Given how well-received these were, I’ve decided to launch a series of educational webinars going forward. These themed webinars will focus on individual important subjects, and will be accessible to all members, either via live participation, or by watching the archived recording afterwards. There are many subjects that we can present and discuss using this interactive medium, such as our pension plan, Health and Safety, the grievance process, how to check your expenses, PBS bidding, Block rules, and many more.

We’re hosting our first themed Webinar, titled “Bidding and Flying on Reserve”, on Tuesday January 26th at 2pm EST. This Webinar is a great opportunity for members on Reserve to familiarize themselves with Reserve rules, learn more about specific issues pertaining to Reserve flying, and hear some tips about bidding on Reserve. We’ll have some special guests on hand to discuss specific items, and help answer your questions after the presentation.

To register for this Webinar, please click on the link below. And if you can’t make it, you’ll be able to review the recording afterwards.
