Educational Webinar Series:Your Pension – Planning For Retirement

Dear members,

I’d like to invite you to join me for the next instalment of our ongoing educational webinar series on Wednesday, April 27th at 2pm EDT (Toronto time), titled ‘Your Pension – Planning for Retirement’. This is an extremely important topic, and I strongly encourage all members to familiarize themselves with the workings of their pension plan, no matter how close or far removed your retirement may be.

During this live webinar, we will discuss many issues surrounding the topic of our membership’s pension plan, and give a detailed presentation on several issues pertaining to retirement planning. Topics will include:

Are you thinking of retirement?

Retirement planning

Understanding my pension plan

Where can I get help?

How much will my pension be when I retire?

How do my earnings affect my pension?

Post-retirement benefits (Travel and Health)

The presentation will be given by myself along with our extremely knowledgeable Pension Committee Presidents, Ross Nichol and Hugh Chetwynd. The presentation will be followed by a live Q&A period where you can ask us questions about pensions and retirement. We encourage you to ask questions which pertain to the membership at large, rather than personal issues which mostly apply you only (you can send us your personal pension questions by email). We also invite you to send us advance questions by email to communications@accomponent.ca with the header ‘WEBINAR QUESTION’.

As always, this webinar will be recorded and made available to all members for viewing at your leisure.
