days until our Collective Agreement expires, we are preparing, we are united and we will make change.

Profit Sharing and Wage Indemnity

The compensation for the Air Canada Profit Sharing Program will be distributed to members in accordance to LOU 38 of the Collective Agreement to all cabin personnel who were on the payroll at either Mainline or Rouge during the previous year. There will be no deductions for Wage Indemnity contributions for members who are in receipt of Short Term or Long Term Benefits.
For those members who are on various government run programs such as the EI Carve Out, CPP Disability, CPP/QPP Pension and various Workplace Injuries Programs, we suggest that clarity be sought with the individual agencies representing these government programs.
If you were not on the active payroll during the period the monies were distributed due to illness or otherwise, Air Canada will pay out these monies once you have returned to the active payroll OR you may contact HR and ask for a payout during your absence.
