DAYS SINCE WE BEGAN THE BARGAINING PROCESS. WE ARE UNITED AND WE WILL MAKE CHANGE.

International Women’s Day 2025

International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8th each year, is more than just a day of recognition – it is a global call to action. In 2025, the theme “Accelerate Action” means ensuring that commitments translate into real, measurable change, that policies promoting gender equality are implemented effectively, and that every individual plays a role in advocating for an inclusive world.

Women across the world continue to face discrimination, bias, and structural barriers that prevent them from achieving their full potential. Despite these challenges, women have led movements, fought for their rights, and have been at the forefront of change. It is essential to recognize the contributions of these trailblazers while also acknowledging the work that remains to be done.

To mark this day, initiatives such as panel discussions, workshops and seminars, community engagement programs, and social media campaigns will take place to highlight the urgency of the cause. However, real change is not limited to events and campaigns. It requires sustained effort from individuals, organizations, and governments. Advocating for policies that promote gender equity, recognizing and uplifting women in workplaces and communities, and educating ourselves on gender-based issues are all critical components of accelerating progress.

International Women’s Day 2025 reminds us that gender equality is not a distant goal – it is an urgent necessity. The time for passive support is over; now is the time to act. By taking concrete steps today, we can create a future where opportunity is truly equal for all.

Happy International Women’s Day!
