DAYS SINCE WE BEGAN THE BARGAINING PROCESS. WE ARE UNITED AND WE WILL MAKE CHANGE.

Support WestJet Flight Attendants – Fair Pay, Respect, and Working Conditions

The WestJet Mainline cabin crew are currently at the bargaining table to end unpaid work and demand fair treatment, while the WestJet Encore crew will begin negotiations in early 2026. Flight attendants are trained professionals who deserve to be paid for every hour worked, not just the time in the air.

CUPE Local 8125 – WestJet Component has just launched a national campaign called #UltraExtraBasic. This campaign highlights unpaid work and calls on WestJet to ensure fair pay, respect, and safe working conditions for flight attendants.

You can help by watching and sharing the campaign video, posting on social media, and talking about why fairness and respect matter for all flight attendants.

🖊️ Send a letter telling WestJet that Respect, Fair Wages, and Compensation shouldn’t be UltraExtraBasic.

Let’s support the WestJet flight attendants in their fight for fairness and dignity at work.

Govern yourselves accordingly, in solidarity,
