days until our Collective Agreement expires, we are preparing, we are united and we will make change.

As we all know, Flight Attendants are the first line of defence on board any aircraft.  This was never more true than on September 11, 2001, when brave and selfless Flight Attendants were heroes in the sky.  The 25 Flight Attendants who died in the 9/11 terror attacks performed heroic feats all in the line of duty, in an effort to protect their passengers while at the same time trying to relay information about what was happening on board those planes to the people on the ground.
9/11 forever changed our workplace and was a harsh reminder of our responsibility as safety professionals.
As part of the Flight Attendant family, today is a day to remember and to honour our fallen heroes.
