Dear members,
Today is May 31st, otherwise known as International Flight Attendant Day. It is a day to take pride in our career, and in the important work that we all do.
The Flight Attendant profession is always changing, and it is extremely challenging. We are trained professionals, who protect the safety of the millions of passengers who travel on airplanes every year, and as such, our contributions deserve to be recognized and respected.
On this day, be proud of your profession, and take a moment to wish each other ‘Happy Flight Attendant Day’, whether you are in an airport, on a layover, or on an airplane.
Today, whether you are in the sky, or on the ground, I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy International Flight Attendant Day!
In solidarity,
Marie-Hélène Major
President, Air Canada Component of CUPE
