This is to advise that nominations took place, at the YYZ Local 4092 special membership meeting which was held on March 1, 2019, to fill the one vacant Local 4092 Trustee position, as well as the recently added position of alternate Trustee. The following members were nominated:

The position of alternate Trustee is outline in Article E.10.2 of the newly revised Local 4092 Bylaws, which states: “An alternate trustee position will be added to serve as one of the three active trustees should any of the duly elected trustees not be able to complete their duties as per E.8.5. The alternate trustee will be the candidate in the last election with the next highest vote count. If there is no candidate willing to perform the trustee duties, the vacancy for the alternate position shall be filled through the regular trustee election process.”
In accordance with Air Canada Component Bylaw C.8.3, an election must be held. Voting for this position will begin on April 27, 2019 at 9:00 am EDT, and end on May 11, 2019 at 12:00 pm EDT. The successful candidates will be installed on Thursday, May 16, 2019, as outlined in Appendix “C” of the Air Canada Component Bylaws.
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: You will receive a letter, by regular mail, directly from Simply Voting one week prior to the vote opening. This letter will contain a new Elector ID and Password, along with detailed instructions on how to vote online and by telephone. This same information will be e-mailed to you.
