Minimum Wage

Dear Mainline Members,

Air Canada has failed to ensure that Cabin Personnel are being paid the greater of the federal or provincial/territorial required minimum wage. Please check your flight summary and pay statement to ensure that any training or alternate work ground duties you would have performed have been paid at the minimum wage. This affects members as they start their career at Air Canada, so we strongly recommend you verify your rate for all training paid to date.

The Union has filed a policy grievance. Click HERE to view the grievance form.

If you have been affected by this matter, we ask that you send an email to i.jovic@accomponent.ca, and ensure to include the grievance number CHQ-24-33 in the subject line.

In Solidarity,

Wesley Lesosky
President, Air Canada Component of CUPE
