The OBSM Cabin Crew Program

Dear members,
ACCEX met with the company for the quarterly UMHQ meeting on January 23, 2019. We came to the meeting prepared with a long list of discussion topics, and the company was prepared with only one: the OBSM cabin crew program.
We started off by clearly stating that our participation in the discussion did not constitute an endorsement of the program. We asked a variety of questions and expressed several concerns.
Of particular concern to us is the fact that our members will not know who is being evaluated until after the flight.
The company stated that in developing the cabin crew aspect of the program, they took into account feedback they had received from SDs, OBSMs, the Kaplan award on the OBSM grievances, and ACCEX. We will continue to monitor closely the implementation of this program, and for that we need the assistance of you, the membership. Please reach out to your local with all questions and concerns about this program.
In solidarity,
Your ACCEX
