Update – RBP Program and Denial Due to Language

This bulletin is a follow up to our last bulletin, issued September 13, 2019, regarding this grievance (click HERE to view the previous bulletin).  We wish to advise you that CHQ-19-39 was presented at Level 2 on October 28, 2019 and was denied by the Company.  The Union will now be sending it to the next step in the grievance process, which is mediation.  It should be presented at mediation early in the new year.

We have heard the membership loud and clear on the importance of one’s language not hindering benefits afforded under the Collective Agreement.

In Solidarity,

Wesley Lesosky
President, Air Canada Component of CUPE
