We did say it was going to be a big announcement.
The Unfair Canada Campaign kicks off today with the new Unfair Canada site.
Now we need to get the message out to everyone that flight attendants aren’t typically paid unless the flight is in motion and show Air Canada the public won’t stand for unpaid work.
Here’s how you can help:
Share the Unfair Canada website and encourage everyone to email Air Canada Execs and let them know that we won’t stand for unpaid work. We’ve already prepared an email so it really just takes a moment to help end unpaid work.
Like, share and follow Unfair Canada on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X. We’ll be sharing experiences, videos and content on the Unfair Canada and Air Canada Component social accounts throughout the campaign. Help us reach as many people by sharing the campaign.
Keep sharing your wasted timer submissions. Since October 1st you’ve submitted thousands of stories about your experiences with unpaid time. Now we’re going to be sharing them with the public (and Air Canada) every day so they know it’s time to end unpaid work.
Want to see your experience highlighted? There’s still time to share your unpaid hours, you can share your experiences anytime throughout the campaign. It’s completely anonymous.
Share what your wasted time actually looks like by sharing anonymous videos of your experience like this video from a recent weather delay on the ground.
You will start to see Unfair Canada ads online and in-person across the country. You can also share the campaign by adding Unfair Canada Stickers to your own stories on Instagram and Facebook by searching @UnfairCanada in the Sticker search bar.
