days until our Collective Agreement expires, we are preparing, we are united and we will make change.

Automated Base Transfer System

Dear Members,
We are aware that the Company has implemented the Automated  Base Transfer system as per Letter of Understanding 48: Transfers.  We have a great number of concerns regarding this new system and sent a letter to the Company on December 22, 2017 detailing those issues.  We have not yet heard back, but wanted to keep everyone updated on the process.
The Union was not consulted prior to the implementation. We did not agree to any changes to the Collective Agreement or past practice regarding base transfers. Furthermore, we are aware of the technical difficulties in accessing the request form with commonly used browsers.
We will be filing a policy grievance regarding this matter.
In solidarity,
Your Component Executive
