days until our Collective Agreement expires, we are preparing, we are united and we will make change.

Remembrance Day

Today, Canadians across the country gather in solemn reflection to honor and remember the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our military personnel. On this Remembrance Day, we pay tribute to the men and women who served, and continue to serve, many of whom gave their lives in defense of freedom, peace, and justice.

Each year at 11:00 am on November the 11th, we observe two minutes of silence in memory of those who have fallen in conflict and those who have returned, forever changed. This moment reminds us of the importance of peace and the enduring impact their service has had on our country.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Let us come together in respect and gratitude, remembering those who served and the values they protected.

In solidarity,
