Uniform update (Mainline): In-Flight Service Style Standards Book, February 2018

The latest “In-Flight Service Style Standards Book, February 2018” was issued on Saturday February 10, 2018.  The Union was extremely disappointed that our requests for involvement in the consultation process were disregarded and we were simply provided with a copy after business close on Friday February 9, 2018.
The Union has once again been inundated with concerns that could have been avoided had the Company chosen to consult with us and ensure that the guidelines were reasonable and conform to applicable laws, acts and statues.
We have consulted legal counsel and will be following up with the employer on our various concerns.
Your Union has filed a grievance pertaining to the newly-added discipline language that violates Article 14.01.
We will keep you apprised as discussions with the Company unfold.
In solidarity,
Your Component Executive
